Brought to South Africa by Pete and Barry, who opened the first store in Cape Town's Cavendish Square in 1997, Seattle has spent the years since serving ethically sourced, artisan-roasted coffee, lovingly prepared — and creating spaces that feel familiar, comforting and full of heart. Today, with around 300 cafés countrywide and a growing presence in FreshStop, Sasol Delight and Food Lover's Market stores, a great cup is always close by. From your first stop in the morning to your friendly greeting on the go, Seattle has become part of the daily rhythm for so many South Africans.
